The major airport in Michigan is Detroit Metro Airport the airport is about 10 miles south west of downtown Detroit with easy access to and from the I94 at exit 198. The airport is a major hub for Delta Airlines and a number of international airlines including Air France and KLM fly direct Trans Atlantic flights. Overall, there are direct flights connecting over 160 cities.
There are a number of smaller airports that provide regular short haul flights to the likes of Chicago, Cincinnati and Minneapolis- St Paul. These include Coleman A. Young International Airport in Detroit, Bishop International Airport in Flint and Capital Regional International Airport in Lansing.
